Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Keepsy, a daily photo journal app, treats information. Keepsy is owned and developed by Meemo Inc. (meemoinc). In this policy, “Keepsy,” “Meemo Inc.,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Meemo Inc. and the Keepsy product.

2. The short version

Keepsy is private by design. In the app:

• There is no Keepsy account and no sign-in with us.
• Your journal lives on your iPhone. That device is the source of truth.
• If you subscribe to Premium, an optional copy can be kept in your iCloud, signed in with your Apple ID. Keepsy never hosts a photo.
• We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking in the app.
• We do not keep logs, crash reports of your content, or a copy of your journal on any Meemo Inc. server — because we do not operate one for your photos.

Because we do not receive your journal, we cannot see it, sell it, share it, train models on it, or recover it for you.

3. What we collect

From the Keepsy app: nothing. Meemo Inc. does not collect, receive, or store:

• Photos, videos, captions, or other journal content
• Your name, email, phone number, or Apple ID
• Precise or approximate location
• Contacts, identifiers, advertising IDs, or device fingerprints for tracking
• Usage analytics, heatmaps, or session recordings
• Server-side logs of your activity or content

Camera and photo-library access, if you grant them, are used only on your device so you can capture or choose today’s frame. Those files are not uploaded to Meemo Inc.

Purchases of Keepsy Premium are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple — not Meemo Inc. — handles payment details under Apple’s own privacy policy. We do not receive your card number or Apple ID password.

4. Where your journal is stored

On your device. Free Keepsy stores your journal locally on the iPhone where you use the app. That copy is yours. It is not synced to Meemo Inc.

In your iCloud, if you use Premium. Premium may keep a private copy using iCloud associated with your Apple ID. That copy lives in Apple’s iCloud service under Apple’s terms and Apple’s privacy policy. Meemo Inc. does not operate iCloud, cannot open that copy, and never hosts it on a Keepsy server.

5. Tracking and third parties

The Keepsy app does not include third-party advertising networks, analytics SDKs, social SDKs, or tracking pixels. We do not sell or share personal information, including because we do not hold a database of your journal.

Apple may process information as the platform provider (App Store, iCloud, operating system). That processing is Apple’s, not ours, and is described in Apple’s privacy documentation.

This marketing website is a static page. We do not run ads or analytics on it, and we do not set tracking cookies. It may load fonts or display scripts from content-delivery networks solely to show the site. Those providers may see standard technical requests (such as your IP address) as any website host or CDN would. They are not given your Keepsy journal.

6. Children

Keepsy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not collect personal information from anyone, we also do not have a children’s profile to delete from our servers.

7. Your rights and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data, or to object to certain processing. For Keepsy app content, those rights are exercised on your device (and in your iCloud settings, if you use Premium backup). Meemo Inc. cannot access, export, or erase a journal we do not possess.

If you believe we hold any other information about you (for example, an email you sent us), write to [email protected] and we will help as required by law. We may need to verify that the request is yours.

We cannot produce your photos to anyone — including in response to a demand — from a Keepsy server, because no such copy exists with us. Any copy in iCloud is between you and Apple.

8. Security

We designed Keepsy so the most sensitive material never reaches us. Remaining risk sits with the device you control and, if you enable it, with Apple’s iCloud. Protect your iPhone with a passcode or Face ID, keep iOS updated, and treat your Apple ID as you would any key to your year. Meemo Inc. does not warrant that your device or iCloud will be free of loss or unauthorized access.

9. Changes

We may update this policy if the product changes. The “last updated” date above will change. If we ever started collecting personal data — which this version of Keepsy does not — we would update this policy and, where required, ask for consent. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
